4 Arrested For Alleged Conspiracy To Set off Violence In Indore

The Madhya Pradesh Police on Saturday arrested 4 individuals for allegedly spreading inflammatory messages on social media and conspiring to set off violence in Indore, a senior police officer stated.

The accused have been recognized as Altmash Khan, Mohammad Imran Ansari, Javed Khan and Syed Irfan Ali, all within the age group of 20 and 30 years, Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Bagri stated.

“The four accused are inspired by radical ideology. They have spread inflammatory messages on social media related to a conspiracy to trigger communal riots at different places by creating a sense of discontent among people over some recent incidents in the city,” the officer stated.

The accused allegedly conspired to create unrest in a single a part of town, then set off a collection of riots at different locations to baffle the police and the administration, he stated.

The police are investigating if the accused have hyperlinks with any terror organisation and if monetary assist was being given to them, the police officer stated.

A case has been filed towards them below Part 153-A (selling enmity between completely different teams on grounds of faith) and different related provisions of the Indian Penal Code, he stated.

The police can even suggest to the administration that the Nationwide Safety Act (NSA) be invoked towards the accused, the officer stated, including {that a} search has been launched to nab extra suspects.
