Batwoman season 3 welcomes Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya
Renee Montoya is returning to Gotham Metropolis for the third season of The CW’s Batwoman, and a well-known face will likely be entering into her sneakers. Deadline has reported that Victoria Cartagena is ready to play Montoya within the upcoming season of Batwoman, after beforehand taking part in the character within the first half of Fox’s Gotham sequence again in 2014.

Victoria Cartagena’s Renee Montoya is described as a former Gotham Metropolis Police Division officer who left the pressure when she might not abdomen the corruption contained in the division. “She now runs the ‘freak division,’ which hasn’t seen a lot of action… until now,” reads Deadline’s description. “Righteous and pragmatic, and LGBTQ+, she’s a woman with a very personal (and mysterious) mission to help clean the streets of Gotham in the right way, by whatever means necessary.” Though Cartagena has beforehand performed the character, this model is not anticipated to be the identical one because the universes aren’t related. For her half, the actress is thrilled to reprise the function in a unique universe.
