Bullet Prepare Mission: The monetary bids for the metal bridges opened on December 18, 2020

Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Prepare Mission: The Nationwide Excessive-Pace Rail Company Restricted (NHSRCL), answerable for executing the nation’s first bullet practice venture, signed a contract settlement with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) – IHI Consortium on February 22, 2021. The settlement signed is for the fabrication and procurement of 28 metal bridges, for crossing over railway traces, rivers, highways, roads, and different buildings for the Mumbai Ahmedabad high-speed rail hall. “The actual construction work has begun for the MAHSR corridor and things are taking shape. This is the third significant contract awarded by NHSRCL for the Project.  The P4(X) and P4(Y) packages for 28 Steel Truss Superstructures will not only boost Indian steel industry but also enhance the Indian steel fabrication workmanship,” said Achal Khare, Managing Director (MD), NHSRCL

According to a statement shared by the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited, it is estimated that around 70,000 MT of steel will be utilised for the fabrication of the steel bridges, which will provide a boost to the country’s steel industries and their allied supply chains. The steel manufacturers in the country will provide steel for the fabrication of structures for these steel bridges. Earlier, L&T had emerged as the lowest bidder for the steel bridge order. The financial bids for the procurement of the steel bridge order for the bullet train project were opened on December 18, 2020. As soon as prepared for service, the 508 km lengthy Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet practice hall will run at velocity of 320 km per hour, passing by areas in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. All the distance is predicted to be lined in two-three hours and with 12 stations alongside the route. The bullet practice venture is funded by the Japan Worldwide Cooperation Company (JICA).
