Cinderella: Brandy Says Whitney Houston's Efficiency is How She Ought to Be Remembered (Unique)

Brandy chats with ET’s Rachel Smith about her favourite Whitney Houston reminiscences from ‘Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella,’ streaming Feb. 12 on Disney+. The 41-year-old actress says Houston’s efficiency is the ‘light that she should always shine in,’ and opens up concerning the closing dialog she had with the late music legend shortly earlier than her dying. Brandy was the primary Black actress to painting the enduring fairytale princess, and she or he reveals her 18-year-old self didn’t grasp on the time how a lot of an influence her groundbreaking casting would have. This 12 months marks the twenty fifth anniversary of ‘Moesha,’ and Brandy says she hopes to return to the character sometime, particularly for the reason that beloved sitcom ended on a cliffhanger!

I didn't like ‘Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.' It promotes race mixing. The cast should've been all black.
I was happy to see it on Disney but honestly I’ve always owned it on DVD. One of my childhood favourites with such an amazing cast.
Long live the Queen
Her dress looks like future princess tiana's . Like really. amazing.
I pray anyone that sees this is successful in life.
I remember watching this when it first premiered on ABC then years later showing it to my little sister, I hope people sit down with family's and see magic witch is Whitney Houston and Brandy, it really is one of the best version of Cinderella there is.

Whitney was ahead of her time
I started showing this Cinderella to my daughters a few years ago. I'm so happy that it's now on Disney Plus.
Brandy is such a sweet heart. This shows that blacks can do amazing things too. Whitney’s voice was so extraordinary. RIP to her
I love that movie with whitney and brandy it was awsome she played such a good actor I also love when brandy wore those old clothes and then whitney turn her into Cinderella it's kind of like my life I was down and now I feel like a queen it's a good feeling it make you feel good inside.
At a young age seeing this film and as an adult, still gives me the reminder of my childhood and that princess/queen feeling. Growing up watching Brandy in all her films and TV shows were super refreshing for me and I looked up to her as a role model. Mainly because of the way she speaks, her aura, her personality her grace it’s just all great vibes and she has been this way for years ( at least as we seen on tv) and I guess thats what Whitney Houston meant by staying true to yourself. I hope this is a constant reminder for women to stay true to who they are. Keep that “princess” within you. God bless you Brandy and RIP Ms. Whitney.
Yearssss from now it should be normani and bey
Both Brandy and the guy that played the prince have not aged a day wow
I wish her and the guy that played the prince ended up a couple in real life they had great chemistry
Rip Whitney Houston
HE IS FROM DETROIT BECOME HUMAN
Whoppi and Whitney had to fight for a black cinderella
There was 1 person at Disney that didn’t want black women to be Cinderella! Whoppi had to put her own money towards extras because they didn’t want to put money behind this film
