Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani Faints Whereas Addressing Ballot Rally
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani collapsed on stage on Sunday whereas addressing a rally for upcoming civic polls in Nizampura space of Vadodara, BJP leaders stated.
Mr Rupani was given first assist on the stage. He was later seen descending the steps of the stage on his personal.
This was Mr Rupani’s third political rally in the course of the day in Vadodara.
“The chief minister collapsed while he was addressing the public meeting. His security guards caught hold of him when he fell. He was given first aid and is being taken to airport from where he will go to a hospital in Ahmedabad,” BJP chief Bharat Hazard instructed a information channel.
“Mr Rupani’s health was not proper for the last two days, but instead of cancelling his public meetings held in Jamnagar on Saturday and in Vadodara on Sunday, he preferred to go ahead,” Mr Hazard stated, including that Mr Rupani is ok now.
Elections to 6 municipal firms together with Vadodara shall be held on February 21 whereas these for municipalities, districts and taluka panchayats shall be held on February 28.
