Too much is being attributed to Sharad Pawar. It is not that Maharashtra govt handed over the case to NIA. It is NIA which took over the case as the center is empowered to take over any case having security implications for the country as per the NIA act. For that it does not need permission of the state. At best the Maharashtra Government would have made a representation to the centre for reconsideration on the ground that law and order is a state subject, but it would have been a fruitless exercise and Sharad Pawar knew it. That is why Uddhav did not pursue it and the hue and cry by NCP is optics only.
How its two months now?
Shiv Sena can't mix up & cooperate with Congress/NCP. They can only match with their big brother BJP as their hindutva mindsets/ideology is same & made for each other. Shiv Sena can't b trusted ….
