Protesters Conflict With Police Over IIT Campus Venture In Goa
Recent protests have erupted in Goa, this time towards a proposed Indian Institute of Expertise (IIT) campus. Locals and police have clashed over land acquisition for the proposed 10 lakh sq. metre campus. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has claimed that the state authorities goes forward with the venture, regardless of the protests.

IIT Bombey in research field.and it requied urgent His own Campus and BJP Govermnt of Gao try to provide land for it .Everyone who comment here try to Know reality . oppostion party against it because they want Vote and NGO aganist it beacuse they always aganist IIt even you can search many NGO donot want to open IIT Madras even but it open.

Since liberation (59 years ago) the Goans trusted their elected representatives to do what was the best for the State. Seeing the total trust of the people advantages beyond our wildest dreams and by the big money bags outside Goa have taken hold and are on course to destroy the whole of Goa for their own profits. Our environment is in the greatest danger. The three mega projects in Mollem have to be strictly scrutinised by Environmentalists or we face the total destruction of our God given gift to India and the world. Goa is our State but the Statesmen are from outside Goa and our Govt officials are signatories to whatever is demanded of them.
10 lakh square metres of land. Hardly you find the plain land in goa. If u build a IIT in molem where should the poor farmers go. The poor people will be punished if they want to enter the IIT later. Always their is a discrimination for farmers. Goan's have done a big mistake of electing BJP.
